摘要

本文衔接与连贯的基本概念出发，旨在分析探究著名电影《阿甘正传》中的语篇衔接与连贯。试分析出衔接与连贯在电影台词间以及情节发展中所发挥的至关重要的作用。本文试从几种不同的衔接手段分析其对语篇衔接与连贯的效果，例如常见的省略、替代、指称、词汇衔接等。通过对于语料《阿甘正传》的分析研究，深化对于语篇衔接与连贯的理解和运用，探究衔接与连贯间的关系。借鉴前人对于该理论的研究，对比对于该理论的争论以及分歧，从而对语篇的衔接与连贯理论的发展有新的认识。

Abstract

This paper begins with a brief introduction to the concepts of cohesion and coherence, and then analysis and study the cohesion and coherence of texts in the famous movie named Forrest Gump .This paper tries to work out the essential roles cohesion and coherence play in the connections between lines and the development of plots. Study the influences of cohesion and coherence make to the texts by different kinds of cohesive devices, such as the common ellipsis, substitution, reference, lexical cohesion and so on . Through the analysis of the lines in Forrest Gump, which can deepen the understanding and learn more about the usage of cohesion and coherence. What’s more, the study leads to the research of the relationship between cohesion and coherence. The purpose of the thesis is to have a new recognize of the development of the theory of the cohesion and coherence of texts, which in the way of referencing the former researches and contrasting the arguments and different opinions about the theory.
