摘要

中国是礼仪之邦，礼仪文化源远流长。随着全球化的发展，中西方的交流日益频繁，跨文化交际成为人与人交流的主要模式。在跨文化交际中，经常会遇到各种禁忌问题，禁忌语作为一种特殊的语言现象，通常反映着一个国家的某些特殊现象。因此，在中西方交际过程中，深入了解中西方禁忌语的差异性非常重要。由于民族意识、文化背景、价值观念不同，中英禁忌语也存在各方面的不同。本文是以跨文化交际为视角，对中英禁忌语进行比较研究分析，以减少跨文化交往过程中产生不必要的误会与矛盾。

Abstract

China is a country of courtesy and propriety with a long history of etiquette culture. With the process of globalization, the communication between Chinese and Westerner has been growing in frequency. The inter-cultural communication has become the main style of peoples communication. In cross-cultural communication, people often encounters various kinds of societal taboos. Taboo words as a special language phenomenon, often reflect some unusual phenomenon in a country. So, in the process of Chinese and western communication, it’s very important to look into the differences of taboo language in different culture. Due to the different natural consciousness, cultural background and values, taboo is different in various aspects. The paper compares, researches and analysis Chinese and Western taboo draws on the perspective of cross-cultural communication in order to reduce unnecessary misunderstanding and contradictions.
