摘要
在不同的文化中,相同的行为会被赋予不同的涵义。如何正确理解不同文化背景下的相同行为所包含的含义,这就需要参与者具备一定的跨文化交际能力。本文将主要关注跨文化交际在商务英语谈判中的实际应用,从国际商务与文化的关系、不同文化对商务谈判的影响、跨文化商务谈判面临的挑战等方面出发,对国内外有关研究展开了分析和概括。总结出了这些研究的代表性,实用性及局限性,并归纳出了相关跨文化交际的策略在英语商务谈判中的有效应用。通过相关商务跨文化交际的案例研究,分析了英语商务谈判中重要的跨文化交际策略,并且结合所取得的数据和研究成果进行了讨论。

Abstract
This paper focuses on the inter-cultural communication in practical application of business negotiation, from some perspectives such as the relationship between international business and culture, the influence of different cultures on business negotiations, the challenges of inter-cultural business negotiations,analyzing and summarizing related domestic and foreign researches. Figuring out the representative of these studies, practicability and limitations, and summarizing the effective application of relevant intercultural communication strategies in English business negotiation. Having investigated some students from English major and non-English majors, this study analyzed the students’ awareness of intercultural knowledge and the level of its application in actual business activity. This research will discuss some cases by combination of the research data and results. this thesis is composed of seven parts.
