摘 要
中国经济和文化正在以惊人的速度发展着,中国与世界各国的交流也日益频繁,我们接触并使用英语的机会也越来越多。众所周知,最大量、最经常、最流行的现代英语的表现形式,就是报纸、杂志、广播、电视、网络等所谓的“大众传媒”。语言是不断发展变化的,尤其随着信息化时代的到来,新闻报道与人们的关系更加密切,报刊文体成为人们熟悉的文体之一,经济全球化的浪潮更使得金融英语报纸和杂志备受青睐,这类文章不仅是金融英语专业学生阅读的好材料,而且是广大金融界人士了解全球财经动态、开阔视野的窗口。这类文章不仅具有一般新闻体裁的文体特征,同时它涉及多个领域,有很多专业的内容。因此,一些国内外金融专家和学者对金融英语新闻报道的语言特征进行了研究。本文将从金融英语报道的重要性和特点出发,从互联网、杂志等媒介上搜集大量实例,从标题、篇章结构、所用词语、数字、引语等方面对金融英语报道的语言特点进行研究,并从中筛选了经典且具有代表性的案例来进行深入地分析,从而帮助读者更好地理解这类报道。作者希望该篇文章能够对相关从业人员有一定的参考价值。

Abstract
China is developing at a surprising pace in the aspect of economy and culture, and there are more frequent contact between China and the outside world. The most prevalent ways to express modern English are newspapers, magazines, broadcast, TV and network — they are so-called “ mass media”. Beside these, literature work is another way. Language is changing constantly, especially with the coming of information age; the relationship between news report and people is getting closer. The style of newspaper is becoming one of the most popular literary forms that are familiar to the public. The wave of economic globalization makes the financial English newspapers or magazines enjoy large popularity. Those newspapers and magazines are not only important reading materials for financial English majors, but also the window for the people in financial community to know the changes of global economy and broad their eyes. Financial English news report has stylistic features as other common news reports. Furthermore, it involves various fields and technical terms. Consequently, some experts and scholars at home and abroad have held researches on the linguistic features of financial English news report. Starting from the importance and general characteristics of financial English reports, the author selected massive and vivid examples from the media such as the Internet, magazines and so on, and studied the linguistic features from the aspects of headline, structure, number usage and quotation. Then, the author singled out two most classical and representative cases for a deep analysis, aiming to help readers better understand this kind of report. The author hopes this paper could shed some lights on the related practitioners.
