摘  要

英语函电的出现提高了国际贸易的效率，促进了各国间的贸易。英语函电的书写已成为贸易成败的因素之一，因此频繁出现在英语函电的惯用语则成为了函电中重要的组成部分。为了能够正确的使用惯用语，使其在英语函电中能够发挥其应有的作用，该论文中会通过案例分析法，对英语函电中出现的惯用语进行分析。在英语函电中，每一个惯用语的使用都有专业的含义，并且都能够清晰简明的表现出含义，使得英语函电变的具有专业性，同时也提高了贸易的效率。对于英语函电中惯用语的特点含义，要清楚认识到惯用语在英语函电中的重要作用，并且在英语函电中使用惯用语时要专业谨慎。

Abstract

The efficiency of international trade is improved as the emergence of English correspondence. In other words, English correspondence promotes the international business around world. So, the written form of English correspondence becomes one of the key factors of the successful business relationship. Idiomatic expressions appear in English correspondence frequently and take a big part in it. That’s the reason why idiomatic expression plays a very important role in English correspondence. In order to use idiomatic expression correctly and effectively in English correspondence, this thesis will analyze the idiomatic expressions in English correspondence deeply through different cases. In each case, every idiomatic expression has its own professional meaning, and shows the meaning in a simple and clear way. English correspondence becomes more professional because of idiomatic expression’s feature. What’s more, it can improve efficiency of international trade. As for the specific meaning of the idiomatic expression and idiomatic expression it plays a very important role in English correspondence. Carefulness and professionalism are necessary for writing English correspondence.
