摘 要
在国际商务谈判中,委婉语的正确使用对谈判双方来说是一种很重要的能力。谈判参与的双方为了协调彼此的经济关系,满足贸易的需求,所以在商务谈判活动的每个环节都会提出一些符合己方利益的条件。如何巧妙地利用委婉语来婉转地表达要求与建议,以达到自己的目的是一个值得深思的问题。本文在研究委婉语和商务函电的关系之后,从商务函电的定义出发,结合国际贸易中可能遇到的一些情境,详细地分析了文化背景、价值观、语法等方面的因素,提出一些实用性的建议。同时,委婉语在减少语言上的摩擦以及建立良好的商业合作关系中往往能起到关键的作用。本文就如何巧妙地使用委婉语在询盘、还盘过程中化解冲突进行了举例研究。同时研究委婉语的重要性及其具体应用方式,罗列商业谈判中的一些策略,为日后外贸函电的具体操作提供一些参考。

Abstract
In International business negotiation, it is a very important ability to use euphemism correctly for the each of the negotiators. In negotiation, in order to coordinate with each other and meet the demand of the two participated parties, people will put forward some conditions, which are in accordance with self-interests. But how can we use it artfully to express our request and suggestion is a thoughtful problem. This paper based on the study of the relationship between euphemism and business correspondence, starting from the definition of business correspondence, combined with some situations that may happened in the international trade, gives a detailed analysis of the cultural background, value, grammar, etc. And give some practical suggestions. This paper gives analysis on how to use euphemism skillfully to solve conflicts in the process of inquiry, counter-offer and gives some specific examples. The paper also discusses the importance and the specific usage of euphemism, gives some business negotiation skill, provides some specific operation for the business correspondence in the future.
