摘  要

财经报道是当代经济社会的一种重要新闻报道形式，其中包含金融，经济，贸易和其他问题，其包含的内容涉及到社会经济生活的方方面面，并且还有继续扩大的趋势。本文结合新闻英语语体的特点，借助英语财经报道实例等第一手资料，分析了英语财经报道的多种语言特点。英语财经报的语言特点包括单词中的特征，句子中的特征和文章中的特征，具有专业语言通俗化，简洁生动，拟人化等特点，能够提高财经报道的准确性，实效性。财经报道的主要功能是传递信息，使用的语言必须真实，简明扼要，在写作风格上既有新闻英语文体的典型特点，又有其独特之处。了解这些语言特征有助于人们对所报道的经济活动等信息有效把握和利用。

Abstract

The financial reports are important new reports in modern economic society, which including financial, economic, trade and other issues. Its content involves all aspects of social and economic life and it is expanding. In this paper, there are some analysis of a variety of linguistic features of English financial reports combined with the characteristics of the style of English news and some first-hand examples of English financial reports. There are several vocabulary features in financial reports. Many terminologies and usage of idioms cover a wide range in financial reports. There are several sentence features in financial reports. For instance, personification, timeless and accuracy. The text features in financial reports is comparison and sentiment will be used in the text. These kinds of features can improve the accuracy and effectiveness of financial reporting. The main function of financial reports is to convey information. Keep these brief and to the point. And don't waste words on the time writing English financial reports. In addition, the use of the language must be truth; there cannot be any false composition. It covers not only the typical features in the writing style of English news, but also its specialty. Mastering the language features can help the readers to grasp the essence of effective coverage and access to the required information.
