摘  要

随着世界经济一体化进程不断加快，我国与世界各国的商务活动日益频繁,商务英语已成为世界经济活动中必不可少的语言交际工具，在国际商务交往活动中起到极其重要的作用。在对外贸易得以成功实现的诸多要素中,国际商务英语合同起的作用不可或缺。本文经过大量研究中外商务英语合同，通过举例来主要分析商务英语合同语言的词法和文体上的严谨性表现，主要探讨它在这两个层面上是如何达到严谨的要求的。许多学者也都曾经在这一课题上进行了各种探讨和研究，对句法和词法综合的分析过，但是本文与以往的研究不同，研究的范围也较之前而言扩大深入许多，也通过许多实例论证课题。与汉语商务合同相比，英语的国际商务在用词及句法方面具有明显的语言严谨性，只有熟悉这些文体特征才能很好的完成合同的签订，准确地表达交易双方的意思。随着中国贸易逐步向海外扩展, 进入国际竞争的大环境，涉外项目相应增多, 商务合同的撰写和翻译的需求也在不断增长，而如何理解、翻译与拟写英文合同,确保合同的严谨性,这是外贸人员必须认真对待的问题。

Abstract

As the global economic integration speeds up, China participates more and more frequently in the world's business activities. Business English has become an essential language in the world economic activities. As an international communicational tool, business English plays an important role in the international business activities. There are many elements contributing to successes in the foreign trade, among which the role of business English contract can not be ignored. Through a large number of case studies, this paper mainly analyzes the language use in the Business English contract on the lexical and stylistic level of writing. Although some Chinese and foreign linguists have already discussed on such topic, unlike the previous studies, this paper has a larger and deeper scope of study with many practical case studies. With the rapid development of Chinese English, the international commercial contracts gain more significance among economic and trade activities. Compared with Chinese business contracts, the English ones attach more importance to the preciseness of their language use. Therefore, only by getting familiar with their style of writing can we understand the contract and feel assured to sign them. As China gradually expands its market overseas and integrates into an environment of fierce international competition, a large amount of Business English contracts keep popping up in the market. As a result, the standard of writing and translating business contracts also became higher and higher, which requires the foreign trade personnel to take it more seriously.
