摘要
七宗罪是一部1995年的美国惊悚电影。本片主要讲述的是宗教中关于人类的七种罪行——暴食、色欲、贪婪、暴怒、懒惰、骄傲和嫉妒。影片通过一名变态杀手制造的一系列凶杀案向我们展示了这七种罪行,同时也揭露了美国不健康的社会现状。宗教在美国社会有着非常重要的地位,撰写此论文的目的就是希望通过这部著名的好莱坞犯罪惊悚电影中涉及到的宗教信仰,宗教对人性和社会的影响以及神秘的宗教色彩和宗教在美国的地位来浅析美国宗教文化,可以让我们更能体会到宗教文化的魅力以及其深远的意义。影片强烈的宗教色彩给观者留下深刻的印象,本文通过分析七宗罪的宗教起源以及片中七种罪行的表现来解析美国宗教文化以及当代人性的阴暗与畸形对美国社会的影响。

Abstract
Se7en was an American thriller movie produced in 1995. This film is about the seven deadly sins of human— gluttony, lust, greed, wrath, sloth, pride and envy. The movie showed us the seven deadly sins by a series of killings which were produced by a kinky killer. At the same time, it revealed the unsound current social situation in America.Religion occupies a very important position in the United States. The purpose of this paper is to analyse the American religious culture through the religious faith; the effects on humanity and society which were brought by religion; and the mysterious religious color those were involved in the movie. Thus we can realize the charm and profound significance of religion more deeply. The strong religious color of this movie gives us deep impression. Through the analysis of religious origins of the seven deadly sins and its expression in the movie, the author analyse the American religious culture and the impacts on society which are brought by the seamy and misshapen side of human nature.

1. Introduction
1.1 The purpose and significance of research
The United States is a country which has strong religious color. There are more than 300,000 Christ Church Cathedrals, Synagogues, mosques and other places of religious activities. A lot of sociologists believe that in the developed countries, the United States has the strongest religious color. According to the international investigations from 1990 to 1993, 82% Americans believed that they got religion. And in the United Kingdom, Germany and France, the data were 55%, 54%, and 48% respectively. There was a datum could reflect American enthusiasm of religion. According to the Associated Press, there were 388 million Americans watched all kinds of professional and college sport games in 1990, while there were 5.2 billion people participated in the religious activities. The donation for religion organizations in America was 56.7 billion dollars in total. It was 14 times higher than the cost in baseball, American football and basketball these three league matches. (熊昱彤, 2002: 60) Therefore, religion occupies a very important position in the United States. The purpose of this paper is to analyse the American religious culture through the religious faith; the effects on humanity and society which were brought by religion; and the mysterious religious color those were involved in the movie. Thus we can realize the charm and profound significance of religion more deeply.
