摘要
厄内斯特•海明威是20世纪美国文坛富有世界性影响的作家之一。他参加过两次世界大战和西班牙内战,战场上的厮杀和死亡强烈地震撼了他的心灵。海明威不断地反思战争,通过小说表达反战情结。海明威的作品代表了他在不同时期的反战情结。本文通过对海明威在《太阳照常升起》、《永别了,武器》和《丧钟为谁而鸣》中反战情结的表现,以及海明威出现反战情结的原因的研究。同时,结合当时的社会背景,海明威的个人经历来探讨海明威的反战情结。战争在人们的身体和精神上烙下了无法弥补的创伤,和平对世界和人民来说极其重要。

Abstract
Ernest Hemingway was one of the writers who had a worldwide influence in American literature of the 20th century. He took part in two World Wars and Spanish Civil War, and he saw cruel slaughters and deaths in the battlefields which strongly shocked his heart. Hemingway thought about his experiences during the war repeatedly and expressed his anti-war complex in the novels. His novels stand for his different anti-war complex in different times. The paper is to research the reflection of Hemingway’s anti-war complex in The Sun Also Rises, A Farewell to Arms, and For Whom the Bell Tolls, and the reasons why Hemingway has anti-war complex with the social background and experiences of Hemingway. The war brings people numerous pains, both physically and mentally. In a word, peace is very important for the world and people.

1 Introduction
Ernest Hemingway (1899-1961) was one of the most famous American novelists and short-story writers in the 20th century. “He published seven novels, six short story collections, and two non-fiction works during his lifetime; a further three novels, four collections of short stories, and three non-fiction works were published posthumously.”Most of his works are now considered classics of American literature. “In 1954 he was awarded a Nobel Prize for his ‘mastery of the art of modern narration’.”
