Abstract

There are two main factors that affect personality formation and development, one is genetic, and the other is environmental. The character of John Griffin in The Invisible Man is mainly affected by the social environment. This paper discusses the influence of social environment on a person’s character by analyzing the Character of John Griffin in The Invisible Man. The analysis of the character of John Griffin in The Invisible Man does not only have theoretical meaning, but also practical value. Social environment, as one of the most important factors that influences our characters, is drawing increasing attention. It can help us build a much more harmonious society by analyzing the influence of social environment on a person’s character.

众所周知,有两个主要因素影响着人格的形成和发展,一个是遗传,另一个是环境。在《隐形人》里，约翰•格里芬的性格主要是受社会环境的影响。本文通过分析《隐形人》里约翰•格里芬这个人物的性格特点，探讨社会环境对一个人性格的影响。因此,分析《隐形人》里的约翰•格里芬，不仅有着理论意义,而且更有一定的实用价值。作为影响我们性格的一个最重要因素,社会环境,吸引着越来越多的注意。研究社会环境对一个人性格的影响，可以帮助我们建立一个更加和谐的社会。
