从罗伦斯的《查泰莱夫人的情人》看两性关系_英语论文

To observe the sexual relationship from Lawrence's Lady Chatterley's Lover 

摘要

《查特莱夫人的情人》是罗伦斯创作后期最重要的小说，也是他饱受争议的一部作品。许多评论家怀疑其直白细致的性描写的必要性，把其定为诲淫之书，并被禁止出版。随着人们思想的解放，该小说本身的文学价值和独具匠心的寓意才被理解。解禁之后，该书一度位于畅销书榜首并收到读者好评。

本文的研究方法为内容分析和案例分析法。本文以罗伦斯的《查泰莱夫人的情人》为主要线索，以内容分析和案例分析为研究方法，致力于研究这部小说中所倡导的自由、和谐的两性关系。文章首先阐述了《查泰莱夫人的情人》这部小说诞生的背景以及其从不被接受到广为流传的过程，其次评述了东西方学者对这部小说的评价，然后详细分析小说中对主角人物康妮、克利福德、梅勒斯的描写，最后提出劳伦斯这部小说中所倡导的和谐两性关系以及人性的回归。

Abstract

Lady Chatterley’s Lover is not only the most important novel of Lawrence’s creation but also the highly controversial one. Many critics doubt the necessity for its straightforward and detailed sex description and defined it as the notorious book which was forbidden to be published. With the liberation of people’s thinking, the literary value and originality of moral things were understood by most people. After lifting the ban, the book was located in the bestseller and received reader’s praise.

This study adopts content analysis and case study as the research methods. The detailed analysis is the support the thesis. This thesis at first gives a brief introduction of the background of the birth of the novel and the process that the public accept the novel. Then review the standpoints of western and Chinese scholars. Thirdly, analysis the main characters in the novel such as Connie Clifford, Mellors. At last, it puts forward the harmonious sexual relations and the return of humanity that advocated by Lawrence.
