摘要

自2003年发表以来,《达•芬奇密码》一书已经被译为40多种语言在全世界热销。该书在多个领域产生了较大的影响，其中最为人们关心并为之引起轰动的则是书中一系列颠覆传统的宗教“事实”。《达•芬奇密码》一书是一本女性主义题材的小说，主旨在于表现神圣女性主义。作者把女性主义与宗教历史艺术地联系在一起，并通过符号学等来体现女性主义的主旨，表现了其特殊性和独创性。本文在开始部分着重介绍该书及作者的相关背景、女性主义和前人的相关研究等部分。然后本文将主要从两个方面介绍丹•布朗使其言论让人信服的过程，以及在其中展现女性主义的方法。首先，本文将从《达•芬奇密码》中的第一个密码引入介绍丹•布朗用以展现女性主义的方法。然后将从全书中着重选择具有代表性的符号介绍丹•布朗在符号象征手法上体现的女性主义。女性主义在书中集中体现为对女性的尊重和对男性与女性之间和谐的追求。

ABSTRACT

The Da Vinci Code is a very popular book all over the world and boosts great influence in many aspects. Many people are influenced by the religious concepts claimed in the book. Meanwhile, the theme of this novel is feminism, Goddess feminism. In this novel, feminism is connected with religious history tightly and embodied by symbology. This paper aims at proving the feminist theme of this book, and find out its specialty. This paper searches information about the current meaning of feminism and the relationship between feminism and religion. And Specific codes and symbols will be analyzed as examples to find the specialty and evidences of the feminism in the book. This paper analyzes the way that Dan Brown embodies feminism from two aspects mainly. The first code appears in The Da Vinci Code will be introduced to show the feminism in this book. And typical feminist symbols will also be introduced one by one. This book shows great respect to females as well as the harmony between female and male.

1 Introduction
1.1 Background
Since The Da Vinci Code was published in 2003, five years ago. It shows the development of feminism nowadays in a special way. In western countries feminism has developed for a long time. In the last century feminism has been developed from western countries to the east. Almost all the countries in the world are seeking for gender equality apparently. (Min Dongchao, 2005) From seeking for women’s equal status with man, feminism has got its new content in the new age——seeking for harmonious equality between sexes and not attaching so much attention on the basic rights. Although the development of feminism varies in different countries, feminism has been in a time of prosperity. (Koushambhi et al. 2007) Nowadays, feminism is widely discussed over the world. More and more scholars have connected it with the study of religion. And some of them think it is a kind of religion. The most typical one is Goddess Feminism.
