摘要

《傲慢与偏见》和《飘》这两部小说都是英美文学史上的巨著，在精彩的故事情节背后，小说同时也都反映了18和19世纪那个时代的英美女性命运，并都表现出了抗争意识。本课题将以两部作品中的女主人翁的女性主体意识为重点研究对象，具体分析她们所体现的女性主体意识的差别和产生这种差别的原因。这些差别研究首先体现在她们对待两性关系上：伊丽莎白主要表现为希望得到尊重而郝思嘉则是由取悦男性到追求男女平等的过程；其次体现她们对待爱情和婚姻上，伊丽莎白表现出被动的等待而郝思嘉则是选择主动追求；最后是在对待社会规范制度上，郝思嘉要比伊丽莎白更严重的“背离”了当时社会对妇女的要求。本课题在这些差异的产生原因主要研究分析两个方面：首先，作家所处的不同社会环境，其次，作家主体个性的差异。
《傲慢与偏见》和《飘》是大家广为熟悉和喜爱的，但是目前只有少数人去观察并研究在美丽的爱情故事外，文中女主人翁所作所为中潜在的女性主体意识。本课题就将以此为主线，同时介绍文中女主角女性主体意识的体现并指出其差异，并且从当时的社会和作者本身的角度指出差异存在的原因。国内外在这个方面的研究一直处于空白状态，本课题将在此进行初步的研究，希望能够进一步的了解英美小说的人物解读以及当时英美女性主体意识的发展，为后面的进一步研究提供参考。

Abstract
                               
Pride and Prejudice and Gone with the Wind are both very famous novels in the history of British and American’s literature. Apart from its splendid story details, the novels also reflect the British and American women’s fate in 18th and 19th century, especially in the aspects of showing women’s consciousness of struggling. In this article we will focus on studying the heroines’ feminism in the novels: In which we will describe the differences of their feminism and the causes of the differences in detail. The differences will firstly be shown when they are treating different gender roles: Elizabeth mainly shows her hoping for respects, but for Scarlett, it is a process: from pleasing men to pursuing for equality. The second is when they’re encountering love and marriage, Elizabeth showed passive and always waiting for confession, but Scarlett chooses actively pursuing. In this article we will mainly study the causes of the differences from two aspects: First of all, the then different social environments; then, the writer’s different subjective individuality also contributed to the difference of their feminism.
Pride and Prejudice and Gone with the Wind are famous all over the world; these two novels have been welcomed by thousands of readers since published. However，most of the people are immersed in the beautiful love story, the practical significance especially the feminism behind it was totally ignored. In this paper, the feminism of the novel’s main roles will be the main line during our writing process; we will introduce the feminism of the main roles respectively and mainly focus on pointing out the differences. In the end, we will try to finding out the reasons that caused these differences from the angle of author themselves and the environment around them. About the different research in this field has been in blank both at home and abroad, we will make a preliminary research about this research, getting a further and detailed understanding of the western fiction’s characters and its development of feminism, hoping to provide some references for the researchers in the future.
