Abstract: 

This paper aims to study the narrative techniques employed in the novel of My Name Is Red. The paper first introduces the novel My Name Is Red and its author Orhan Pamuk and then discusses the narrative techniques employed in the novel respectively, which includes the narrative technique of the first person narration and the multi-perspective narration. The author of this paper also analyzes the symbolic significance according to the context of the novel to help readers get a better understanding of the novel.

本文旨在研究《我的名字叫红》中的叙事技巧。文章作者首先介绍了《我的名字叫红》及其作者奥尔罕•帕慕克；然后分别阐述了小说中所运用的叙事技巧分，包括第一人称叙事法和多角度叙事法；作者对小说中所运用的象征手法及其在小说中的实际意义也作了深刻的剖析以帮助读者更好解读小说的主题。

1. Introduction
My Name Is Red is a famous contemporary novel by Orhan Pamuk (Orhan, Pamuk, 1952) with a collection of love, suspense and philosophy. When Pamuk lifted the trophy of the Nobel Prize in Literature in 2006, the whole nation of Turkey was boiling. The Swedish Academy announced that his works were "in the pursuit of hometown melancholy soul and at the same time found a new conflict between civilization and a symbol interleaving." His pen depicted fantastically the conflict and fusion between the two different cultures in the east and the west, especially in My Name Is Red.  In the book, not only the cultural theme is profound, but also the narrative art is excellent. This piece of works, with its unique cultural connotation and narrative charm, has won the "Gelinzhana Carver prize" in Italy, the French "Excellent Foreign Works Award" and the" International IMPAC Dublin Literary Award" and other three European literary awards.
