摘要

《飘》是美国女作家玛格丽特•米切尔唯一的也是最为出名的作品，多年以来，研究《飘》的学者多如过江之鲫，大多数人对《飘》中所体现出的女权主义思想研究至今，本文别出心裁，通过研究男权主义的起源及其发展和历史影响，加上《飘》中男性角色身上的男权主义思想及其体现的分析，对该作品中女权主义的对立面—男权主义进行全面地解析，目的是为了研究男权主义的思想内容及其给世人的启示。通过研究，发现男权主义思想一方面是统治女性的不二权威，通过欺压，奴隶女性以巩固其统治地位，而另一方面，男权主义思想中的责任心等优秀品质也保卫着女性。本文对更清晰地了解《飘》中所蕴含的从古至今作为社会主流思想的统治女权主义的男权主义到底为何物具有意义。

ABSTRACT

Gone with the Wind is the only and also the most famous work of Mitchell, the female writer of America . For many years, there have been so many scholars just like the river crap, most of whom have researched the feminism reflected in the novel over the years until now. This paper will be different, through researching and analyzing the historical development of male chauvinism and ideas of male chauvinism reflected in several male characters in Gone with the Wind, male chauvinism , the complete opposite of feminism , will be completely researched and analyzed . The purpose is to explore the content and enlightenment of male chauvinism and let everyone know about it . Through research, in one hand, it is found that the male chauvinism is the one and only authority which rules females, besides, male chauvinism try to consolidate its dominant position by bullying, oppressing and slaving females . However, in other hand, it is also found that some good qualities such as responsibility of ideas of the male chauvinism also protect females . This paper means important significance to deeply know what exactly the male chauvinism which reflected in Gone with the Wind and the popular idea which ruled feminism for thousand years is .
