Abstract:

Mark Twain is one of the most affective critical realist authors in the 19th century. Most of his works reflect the ethnic characteristics and social life of the Americans in a humorous and sarcastic way.
This thesis simply analyzes the personalities of the main character in The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn by describing some of the scenes in the book. The author of this thesis aims to make the readers resonate with her about the society in that era. By analyzing the characteristics of Huck, the writer shows the growing procedure of Huck from innocence to maturity, aiming at promoting people to review their vision on social reality and stick to their kind nature.
This novel consists of three parts. The first part mainly introduces the writer Mark Twain and his book The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn; the second part mainly analyzes the characteristics of the hero Huck. Mark Twain created a just, kind, wise and sympathetic American boy by expanding the plot. He is also a guy with spirit of adventure and bolshie; the third party briefly analyzes the language features and style.
Mark Twain not only tells us a story of adventure, but admonishes the parents not to limit the natural growth of their children. They need to provide a relaxed and active growing environment for their children rather than give them too much dogma and bondage.

马克•吐温是19世纪美国文学史上最具影响力的批判现实主义作家之一，他的作品大都以诙谐幽默、辛辣讽刺的形式来反映美国的民族特色和社会生活。
本文通过对小说《哈克贝利•芬历险记》中若干场景的描述，展开对小说中人物性格的简单分析，从而让读者产生对那个时代社会的共鸣。通过对哈克的性格分析，向读者展现哈克从天真到成熟的成长过程，旨在使读者重新审视当时的社会现实，希望人们坚守善良的本性。
本文由三个部分构成：第一部分是对作者马克•吐温及其作品《哈克贝利•芬历险记》的介绍；第二部分对哈克的性格进行分析，通过小说情节来揭示一个正义善良、聪明睿智、富有同情心和正义感、富于冒险和反叛精神的美国少年形象；第三部分对小说语言特点和风格作简要分析。
马克•吐温并不是简单地为我们描绘一幅探险的画面，而是通过小孩的行为点醒大人，希望大人们不要束缚儿童的自然成长，不要给儿童过多的教条与束缚，让儿童能在轻松活泼的环境下成长。
