在对《小王子》的研究中有诸多方向，如作品背景、作者的双重形象、象征启示等。本文通过案例分析法、归纳法和文献资料分析法对作品进行了研究和分析。通过探讨各个象征创作中具体的意象，结合当时的背景得出结论：一是象征创作在文学作品中占重要地位；二是象征创作是作为一种媒介来传递作者的思想感情，并用含蓄委婉的象征创作手法给读者以深刻的启迪。从时代背景，可以正确地理解象征的内在含义，通过分析象征中的意象可以了解作者想表达的哲理启迪。简言之，《小王子》是部出色的著作，其中的象征创作举足轻重——借用具体的意象暗示了特定的人物和事理，表达了作者真挚的感情和深刻的寓意。

Abstract:

There are many directions in the study of The Little Prince, such as works background, dual imagery of author, symbolic enlightenment and so on. This paper researched and analysed the works by using three methods: case analysis method, inductive method and literature data analysis. From the analysis of the symbolic imageries, it is naturally subscribed the two aspects: one is the significance of symbolic writing, the other is the symbolic writing as a media. We can correctly understand the intrinsic meaning of symbolism from the background of the times, and we can understand the author wants to express the philosophy application through the analysis of symbolism. To sum up, The little prince is a outstanding works and the symbolic writing play a decisive role in the book. The author expressed his sincere feelings and profound implication by using specific images.

1 Introduction
    The little prince was written in the period of Second World War, and the theme exposed the nature of war. The author thought the human beings will wake up by the little prince understanding the nature of love. This fairy tale was welcomed lied in the author expounded the profound philosophy and the truth of life with the fairy tale type brush strokes and symbol creation.
    As many other fairy-tales, the outline of The Little Prince is not very complex. “I”, the narrator of the story, is a pilot whose plane has something wrong and lands in the Sahara. In this occasion, the pilot makes the acquaintance of the little prince, a little boy from another planet, the Asteroid B612. The little prince has escaped from his tiny planet, because he has some quarrel with a rose, which grows on his planet. In that case he left his own planet and took an exploration at some neighbor asteroids. On his all-alone journey, the little prince meets different kinds of people, which includes a king, a conceited man, a tippler, a businessman, a lamplighter and a geographer. From these people he gets a conclusion that the grown-ups are very odd. Following the instruction of the geographer, he descends in the Sahara, on the earth. Traveling on the earth, the little prince, who sees a garden of five-thousand roses, is overcome with astonishment and sadness, as he considers his rose is unique in the universe before. At that time a fox appears.
