Abstract
A Song of Ice and Fire is a series of novel written by American writer George R.R Martin. It mainly describes a series of fighting between seven kingdoms. It happened in a fictional middle age world, and consists of kingsland fights, great battles, adventures and magic fantasy. A brief introduction of fantasy novel and back ground and speciality of A Song of Ice and Fire will be given. Martin uses a realistic way-- POV(point of view), to show the world, which has a great influence on modern fantasy. The method of content analysis, comparison and experiment are meant to be introduced in this paper. By analyzing the chapter structure and putting the POV(point of view) theory as the study method, the thesis researches on the usage of POV structure and compares it with normal first view and third view.

《冰与火之歌》是一部近年来非常畅销的奇幻作品，在本书中作者运用了一种独特的写作手法—角色视点写作手法，即视点人物写作手法。通俗地说，就好比一部大片，导演将摄影机装在不同人物的身上，并不断切换。整个故事，由甲人物以自身立场讲述一段后，变换为乙人物来讲述，以此类推，周而复始。翻开本书可看到，每章节的名称皆为一人物名，该人物便是本章的视点人物。这样的写法，不仅大大增强了代入感，尤为重要的是，它主观地限制了读者（通过视点人物的视野）获取信息和进行思考的广度，为书中错综复杂的线索设置提供了必要的帷幕。首先本文将介绍奇幻小说的起源与分类，分析《冰与火之歌》的写作背景与特殊性，文中将引入视点理论，并且列出几种叙事方式，简单的介绍本书的故事情节，并将全书中的31位视点进行罗列，寻找之间的关系与规律。分析《冰与火之歌》的章回结构，运用角色视点理论探求本书的成书结构。再通过与普通的第一人称，第三人称视角手法对比寻找他们的区别的与优劣。本文将探讨视点角色系统的起源，讨论其与大作《喧哗与骚动》的联系。最后本文将深入研究建立小说的批评框架。
