摘要:
本文以小说《雾都孤儿》中呈现的儿童悲剧为例,分析儿童的社会问题所在。通过例证分析和比较分析,阐释儿童教育问题、心理问题、犯罪问题的现象和原因;对比分析我国现阶段出现的农村留守儿童的社会问题;详细阐述针对上述三大问题的防范措施。作者希望通过本文的研究成果能够引起中国社会对农村留守儿童问题的足够重视,对解决中国农村留守儿童这一社会问题做出绵薄之力。

Abstract:
This paper analyzes the current social problems of the rural left-behind children in China through the reflection of children’s tragedy in Oliver Twist. In this paper, case analysis and comparative analysis will be used to expose phenomena and reasons of the left-behind children’s educational, psychological and criminal’s problems. Through the comparative analysis of current social problems of the rural left-behind children, the writer puts forward some suggestions in view of the three problems correspondingly. The writer hopes the research findings of this paper can arouse Chinese society’s enough attention to the problems of the left-behind children. And the paper will make a contribution to solve the Chinese social problems of the rural left-behind children.

1. Introduction
Since the early 1980s, as China’s modernization and urbanization accelerating, the rural surplus labor forces are moving to cities on a large scale. However, due to the city and countryside dual structure and the limitation of their own economic conditions, these farmers can only work and live at cities alone but are unable to settle the children into the city when facing with many real problems. The migrant workers can only choose to keep their children in the countryside, and entrust others to look after them which ultimately formed the situation that migrant workers parents and their children separated. A new vulnerable group – the left-behind children was born. In order to truly focus on “agriculture, rural areas and farmers”, we should not only pay attention to the present situation of the migrant workers’ living and life, but also cannot ignore the next generation of farmers’ raising and education problems.
In the growth process, most of the left-behind children are lack of parent-child communication and miss parent-child interactions which lead to a series of psychological, physiological and behavioral problems and triggered a series of social problems. Most of the left-behind children’s personality development is not perfect: learning achievement is poor, interpersonal has obstacles, ideological and moral construction highlight crisis increasingly, and deviant behaviors appear more and more. On this basis, more and more left-behind children problems began to appear, so the author sets the problems of the left-behind children as main subject of this research.
