《永别了 武器》中女主人公凯瑟琳的形象分析

摘        要
《永别了，武器》是美国小说家厄内斯特•海明威的代表作之一。《永别了，武器》是海明威最重要的战争作品之一。女主人公凯瑟琳•芭克莱是一位让评论界极为关注的女性人物形象。很长时间以来，很多评论家都认为“无知和顺从”是海明威笔下的女性的核心内容。凯瑟琳的形象近些年来引起了读者对她的兴趣并饱受评论界争议。本文试图通过对凯瑟琳这个人物塑造的分析，论证海明威在这部小说中塑造了一个完美理想的女性形象。
本文将分为七个部分。第一个部分是引言，它简要介绍了海明威的生平和这部小说的创作背景。第二个部分为文献综述。文章的主体部分分为四个小部分，本文将从凯瑟琳对爱情，婚姻，战争和死亡四个方面来驳斥评论家们对凯瑟琳这一个人物形象的理解。通过分析女主人公凯瑟琳对战争、爱情、婚姻、死亡等四个方面的态度和见解，海明威把凯瑟琳塑造成一个完美理想的女性形象。最后一部分是结论部分。

Abstract
A Farewell to Arms is one of Hemingway's most important works about war. Heroine Catherine • Barkly is a female character who is of great concern to the critics. For a long time, many critics contend that "ignorance and obedience" is the core character of women in Hemingway` s works. Catherine's image in recent years has gained attention of the readers and has been disputed by the critics. In this novel, through the analysis of Catherine's description, this paper intends to illustrate that Hemingway molded Catherine into a perfect ideal woman image.
 This article is divided into seven parts. The first part is introduction of this paper, it will give a brief introduction of Hemingway's life and the creation background of the novel. The second part is the literature review of this paper. The main body of the article is divided into four small parts, these four small parts will prove that Catherine is not ignorant and obedient in critics` s eyes from Catherine` s attitudes towards love, marriage, war and death four aspects .Through a detailed and comprehensive analysis of the attitudes and Catherine’s views on the war, love, marriage and death, this paper intends to illustrate that Hemingway molded Catherine into a perfect ideal woman image. The last part is conclusion of this paper.
