摘要：

陌生化作为俄国形式主义文论核心思想，在《喧哗与骚动》中有着充分的体现。叙述视角的独特性以及语言的难化这两种陌生化手法的运用在第一章白痴班吉的叙述中尤为突出，使得作品更能把握现代生活的本质和内涵，为小说带来了强烈的审美效果。从俄国形式主义的陌生化理论出发，用班吉这个有限视角，人们可以对白痴新奇的叙事角度进行不同的解读。本文通过探究白痴视角所造就的更为客观化的意识流描写和陌生化效果，来突显康普生家族及其所处时代的种种矛盾和对立，从而揭示一个大家族没落的主题，以及给读者带来的感官刺激和情感震动。

Abstract:

 As the core conception in Russian Formalism, the defamiliarization is fully manifested in The Sound and the Fury. The employments of two defamiliarization devices—the uniqueness of narrative perspective and the difficulty of the language are much prominent in the narration of the idiot Benjy, through which the work could gain a better hold of the nature and connotation of modern life, and possess a strong aesthetic effect. Embarking from the defamiliarization theory of Russian Formalism, with Benjy’s limited angle of view, people could have different interpretations for the new narrative perspective of an idiot. Through exploring the much objective description of the stream of consciousness and the defamiliarization effect which are created by the idiot perspective, this thesis will highlight the various conflicts of the Compson family and the time they lived in, thus revealing the theme of a great family’s decline. The author will also analyze the sensory stimulation and emotional shock brought by the unique narrative perspective.
