摘要：

人性就是在一定社会制度和一定历史条件下形成的人的本性。故而本性，并非是一直停留在“人之初，性本善 ”的，而是与受所处环境影响的。人性从根本上决定并解释着人类行为的那些人类天性。戈尔丁的小说《蝇王》很好的描述了战争环境对人性的影响。小说中的人物在战争条件下发生扭曲变化，导致人类本性中固有的、丑恶的一面暴露出来。在文明社会中发生了权力争夺、物质利益角逐和虚荣等不文明现象。康拉德的《吉姆老爷》很好的诠释了在不同的地理环境下吉姆老爷人性的转变。这两部作品都揭示了人性的转变与环境的变化是分不开的。

Abstract:

Humanity is human nature that is formed in a certain social system and certain historical conditions. Human nature is not always good from birth, but is influenced by the environment. Fundamentally, human nature decides and explains human behavior. Lord of the Flies of Golding has a good description of the impact of the war on human nature. The characters in the novel changed under the conditions of the war, which resulted in the exposal of the inherent and ugly aspects of human nature. In a civilized society, there were some uncivilized phenomena such as struggle for power and material benefit, and vanity. Lord Jim of Conrad has a good interpretation of the change of humanity in different geographical environments.
