Abstract

Mystery novel is an indispensable part in novel literature. In recent years, there have been lots of writers who began writing mystery novels, most of which were influenced by Western mystery novels, especially those written by Edgar Allan Poe, an American master of mystery novels. However, by virtue of the differences of Chinese and Western culture and historical backgrounds and other causes, Chinese mystery novel and Edgar Allan Poe's mystery works’ differences are obvious to be seen. This article will combine part of Poe’s creative concept to discuss the differences between them---Edgar Allan Poe’s and Cai Jun who is famous for his mystery novels in China, from several aspects, such as religions involved in creating, the images used in the suspense novels and some writing skills, in order to find some new ideas for the future development of Chinese suspense novels, which would inject fresh blood into China’s literacy creation.

摘要

悬疑小说是小说文学中不可或缺的部分。最近几年中国现代悬疑小说掀起了一股热潮，而现代中国悬疑小说中不免受到西方悬疑小说的影响，尤其是受美国悬疑大师埃德加·爱伦·坡悬疑作品的影响。但由于中西方文化和历史背景的不同以及其他方面的原因，中国悬疑小说与爱伦坡的作品差异也是显而易见的。本文结合爱伦坡的部分创作理念，从悬疑小说创作中涉及的宗教、所使用的意象、创作时技巧等几个方面探讨爱伦坡的悬疑作品与中国悬疑小说（以蔡骏为代表的悬疑小说为主）之间的差异，为未来中国悬疑小说的发展提供一些新思路，给中国的文学创作注入新鲜的血液。
