Abstract

Jack London, a famous realist writer in America. He is one of the most popular and influential authors in America even in the world. His work White Fang expresses worship of the life itself, the meaning of life and the pursuit of the original form of spiritual freedom. The success of White Fang’s survival and his return to civilization are made detailed based on Darwin’s theory of evolution. His experiences are analyzed to conclude that the fittest survive and competition is everywhere. These prove both humans and animals in competition should not only respect and love life, but also explore and adapt to the nature in the growth.

摘要

杰克·伦敦，著名的现实主义作家，在美国乃至世界享有盛誉。他的《白牙》表达了对生命意义与精神自由的追求。本文运用达尔文的生物进化理论，对白牙的成功生存和其归化文明做了较为详细的阐述,并充分分析白牙的生活经历，得出适者生存，竞争无处不在。这些都论证了不管是人类还是动物在竞争中既要尊重热爱生命，在成长中也要探索与适应自然。
