摘要

《简爱》是19世纪著名英国批判现实主义作家夏洛特·勃朗特的代表作,她成功塑造了英国文学史上第一位对爱情、生活和社会都抱有积极态度，并且敢于与恶势力作斗争和追求自由与平等的女性。本论文主要分析她的双重性格，一方面向人们展示了她对自由、平等、真爱、独立的追求，于此同时也展示她的叛逆、自负以及传统的婚姻观。本论文结合了简爱的生活经历来分析她的双重性格，通过对简爱语言、生活、情感的剖析，使人们更深层次的了解《简爱》和它的现实意义。

Abstract

Jane Eyre is a representative work of Charlotte Bronte who is an English critical realist writer of 19 century. People always consider that the work is based on the author’s own life experience. This thesis discusses the reasons and the performance of Jane Eyre’s dual characters. On the one hand, it successfully presents the first female who takes a positive attitude to life and dares to struggle for freedom and equality in the history of English literature; on the other hand, it also fully shows Jane Eyre’s low-esteem and treason. Through Jane Eyre’s experiences of life to analysis her dual characters, people will learn more information about Jane Eyre.
