摘要

法国作家圣·埃克絮佩里（1900-1944）的《小王子》通过小王子的视角来讲述现代世界的失落和孤独，诉求现代人的精神家园。文中有许多人物和形象，在读者看来，这些人物和形象具有丰富的象征意义和现实意义。
《小王子》经久不衰的魅力就在于其丰富的内涵和广泛的象征意义，也在于这些象征意义有的直白明了，如小王子在旅行途中的星球上遇到的那些人物，有些又隐晦难懂，如蛇与玫瑰花等。对于这些隐晦难懂的形象的理解，关键在于读者对自身的精神家园追求的程度。

Abstract

The French writer Antoine de Saint-Exupery’s famous work The Little Prince describes the sense of loss and the loneliness of the modern world and calls for the spiritual homeland of modern people from the perspective of the main character the little prince. There are so many characters and images in the story. For our readers these characters and images contain rich symbolic meanings and realistic meanings.
What makes the story charming is that not only the rich symbolic meanings but also the symbolic meanings’ features, which are either direct or difficult to understand. Direct as the people the little prince met in his journey on some planets, and obscure as the snake and the rose. The key to understand all these images, which are difficult to figure out, is on the readers’ pursuing to their spiritual homeland.
