摘要

本文主要分析了简奥斯汀在《诺桑觉寺》一书中所写的三种讽刺。首先，本文将对简奥斯汀及其作品《诺桑觉寺》进行简要的介绍，接着简述讽刺的定义及文中所用的讽刺技巧。然后，本文将结合具体内容总体地分析三重讽刺，即对金钱决定论的讽刺、对哥特式小说的讽刺还有对感伤小说的讽刺。之后，本文将简谈这三种事物即金钱决定论、哥特式小说及感伤小说在现代社会的映射。

Abstract

This paper does analyze primarily three ironies in Northanger Abbey, which is written by Jane Austen. It begins with a brief introduction to the background of Jane Austen and Northanger Abbey, and then makes a sketch of the irony and some techniques of irony in Northanger Abbey. After that, this paper generally analyzes three ironies by combing concrete content, namely the irony aiming at the money determinism, the irony aiming at the gothic style and the irony aiming at the sentimentalism. Finally, it will talk about the reflections of money determinism, the gothic style and sentimentalism on modern society.
