摘要
   
本文从小说《莫瑞斯》的同性恋主题入手，探讨同性恋主题的展现方式和作者的写作原因，以及同性恋人群在当时社会所不被接受的社会事实。同时通过酷儿理论将小说中同性恋的描写进行解读，探讨当时社会与现代社会中同性恋群体依旧不被社会所接受的现象。旨在正确认识、理性看待同性恋这一社会现象。同性恋不伤害他人，对社会也没有什么负面的影响。它的性质相当于酗酒或自由恋爱；它既不是犯罪和邪恶，也不是心理疾病，而是属于少数人所有的生活方式。给同性恋者多一些宽容，不要单纯的以“道德观念”来衡量一切。

Abstract

This thesis begins with the theme of Maurice, homosexual, discussing the presentation of such a theme, the reason why Forster chose this theme as well as the fact that homosexuals were not accepted in that society at that time. At the meanwhile, with the help of the Queer Theory to interpret the description of homosexuals in this novel, the phenomenon is to be analyzed that homosexuals have not been accepted yet, neither at the time of the novel, nor in modern times, whose aim is to help people keep homosexuals in perspective. Homosexuals do not harm others and exert little negative influence upon society, whose nature is the same as intemperance and free love. It is neither a crime, nor evil, nor mental diseases; it is a kind of lifestyle of a few people. Therefore, more tolerance should be given to them rather than a simple moral conception.
