摘要

查尔斯·狄更斯是19世纪英国著名作家，是批判现实主义的作家之一，以其幽默风趣的语言在浪漫和现实中讲述人间真情，从而间接批判现实主义，马克思将他誉为“英国一流小说家“中成就最大的作家。《双城记》是狄更斯代表作之一，讲述了法国大革命时期，贵族和平民之间的战争，揭露了社会的黑暗，贵族的恶行，平民复仇的强烈愿望。狄更斯从贵族，中小资产阶级以及平民的各个角色进行深刻挖掘体现出人性的复杂，发出对人性美的赞扬和对丑陋的鞭笞，对人道主义的呼唤和对现实主义的批判。

Abstract

Charles Dickens is the famous writer in the 19th century; one of the most important critical realism writers, telling the fact between romance and reality with humorous language to criticize the realism. Marks praises him as the British First-rate novelist. A Tale of Two Cities is the representative wok of Dickens, which reveals that during the French Revolution, ordinary people struggled with aristocrats for their freedom and right, but there were some petty bourgeoisies willing to help people who were in trouble even at the risk of their lives. Dickens sets up every class of people to show the complexity of human beings, criticize darkness of the society and call for the kindness and humanitarianism.
