摘要

2013年，由好莱坞导演巴兹·鲁赫曼执导的影片《了不起的盖茨比》在美国上映。但不幸的是，尽管导演穷尽心力，媒体方面却反响平平。究其原因，导演对原著叙事的把握与运用成了这部影片的双刃剑：它一方面成就了该片故事性的完美还原，却也造成了影片思想性的极大缺憾。本文将从叙事手法、叙事时间和叙事人物三个方面出发，通过2013版电影与1974版的对比，向读者阐释影片在改编过程中的成败得失。

Abstract

 In 2013 ,The Great Gatsby directed by the Hollywood director Baz Luhrmann was released in the United State. Unfortunately, although the director made all his efforts on the film, it was a mildly successful film to the media. It was the director’s application of the narration of the original book and the film effects cause the problem: it achieved the perfect reduction of the origin while caused the regret on the ideological level. This thesis will make difference between the 1974 version and the 2013 version through the narrative methods, narrative people and the narrative time.
