摘要：

罗伯特·彭斯是十八世纪苏格兰文学史上最杰出的、伟大的农民诗人，一生创作了很多作品，内容包罗万象。彭斯的伟大之处在于他将自己的情感不是仅局限于个人情愫的起落，而是将目光射向了更为广阔的政治领域。这个在彭斯的很多诗作中都有很明显的反映。本文从彭斯的人生经历入手，分析了其政治性的来源，并且分别选取彭斯不同时期的诗作对此方面进行了一个比较详细的解释。

Abstract :

 Robert Burns was the greatest and the most famous Ploughman poet in Scottish Literature in the 18th century, he wrote many works , which included many images and different styles . The greatness of Burns was that he didn’t focus his emotion only on his personal feelings, but cared more about the whole world. We can notice those from his poems. This paper starts with Burns’ personal experiences to analyze the source of his political tendency , and then selects some poems of Burns’ in different periods to give specific explanation.
