Abstract
This paper endeavors to analyze the images of middle-aged women with the perspective of feminism in Hateship, Friendship, Courtship, Loveship, Marriage written by Alice Munro. It attempts to read their life and emotional experiences. Then, taking the background of the era and the writer, it tries to find out the reasons which cause Alice Munro to pay her attention to the middle-aged woman and its literary significance. This paper will summarize the middle-aged-women images appearing in these collected stories to find out their characteristics in Alice Munro’s creation. Finally, this paper will find out the way to solve the problems the middle-aged women are faced with.

本文对艾丽丝•蒙罗的短篇小说集《仇恨•友谊•恋情•爱情•婚姻》里的中年妇女形象进行分析解读，针对她们在人生的特殊阶段所具有的生存经验和情感体验进行分析。结合蒙罗的自身经历与时代背景以及文章所折射出的文学意义，探索蒙罗创作各色中年妇女形象的出发点。同时对小说中出现的主要中年妇女形象进行归纳总结，找出她们身上反映出的文学特点和时代特色，进而分析出蒙罗为处于这个特殊阶段的妇女面临各种困难时所指出的出路。

Alice Munro (1931- ) is a Canadian short-story writer, winner of the 2009 Man Booker International Prize for her lifetime body work, three-time winner of Canada’s Governor General’s Award for fiction, and a perennial contender for the Nobel Prize. Generally regarded to be one of the world’s foremost writers of fiction, her stories focus on the human condition and relationships seen through the lens of daily life. Her “accessible, moving stories (1)” explore human complexities in a seemingly effortless style. Munro’s writings have established her as one of the greatest contemporary writers of fiction. Her stories are mostly written from the point of view of a young or an adolescent girl and address themes of particular interest to women.
