川菜的翻译策略研究_英语论文

摘要

翻译是在言语交流过程中减少或消除语言文化差异和不同文化之间沟通的途径,所以如何把握好中英两种语言之间的彼此转换变得尤为重要。随着时代的变迁,人与人之间的沟通方式越来越多,距离越来越短了,然而在中外交流中,饮食文化又尤为重要。古语有"名以食为天”的说法。随着中外文化交流的一步步地深入,中国的饮食文化因其特有的魅力吸引着全球的人们。

然而,由于语言,文化背景等方面的不同,外国人对中国美食饮食文化的理解和接受是有限的。 如何对中国菜名的进行准确和适当的翻译,已成为发扬中国美食文化的一个非常重要的问题。 由于中华饮食的多样性,所以本篇论文选择了比较有代表性的川菜作为研究的对象,本篇论文查找了川菜的翻译策略,并且发现了国外学者习惯于总结方法, 为论文提供了充足的理论依据,并且提供了一种视角可以更加全面的了解到翻译的多样性,还有中外翻译的区别。 还而国内的研究学者们更加擅长从实际例子中寻找方法,为本论文贡献了很多有说复兴的实例。 本篇论文结合前人对中国菜名的翻译方法的研究,就四川菜名的英译从翻译的音译,曲直,叙事和一些其他的翻译方法做探讨。

Abstract

Translation is a way to reduce or eliminate the differences in language and communication between different cultures in the process of verbal communication .It is very important for holds the conversion between the two languages. With the changing times, more and more communication between people, of course, the distance is getting short, but in exchange, food culture and is particularly important. The old saying "people food is all important.” With the unique charm of Chinese food culture, Chinese food culture attracts people from around the world, but also to promote the exchange cultures between country and country. Variety, novel and chic names reflect the Chinese nation has a long history, splendid food culture differences.

However, because of  cultural background ,habits,language and so on ,Some Chinese cuisine diet culture understand and accept is difficult to the foreigners .In the field of Chinese diet culture. How to translate Chinese Dishes accurately and appropriately has become a very important issue, By going through the relevant references, this paper sorts out the previous research results, and summarizes the important research results. Due to the kinds of the Chinese diet. So the more representative Sichuan cuisine is chosen as the object of study. The translation strategies of Sichuan cuisine are examined in the paper. The paper found foreign scholars are used to summarize method, offers plenty of theoretical bases, and provides a perspective can full understanding the diversity of translation, and foreign translation difference. Also of domestic scholars are more adept at finding methods from the actual example. The paper has laid a good theoretical basis. Combined with the findings of predecessors. Chinese translation method from Sichuan transliteration translation, its merits, narrative and some other translation methods discussed in this paper.
