摘要 

随着认知语言学和现代符号学的发展，人们对幽默的探索已经不仅仅局限于心理学、语用学和语义学，英式幽默作为一种独特的幽默，人们也把英式幽默作为研究对象并从多个方面对它进行研究，本文运用了一个认知符号工作模型，分析了新模型的具体内容和操作过程，并运用该模型推断出不同形式的英语幽默所对应的典型例子的动态认知过程。
