摘要

英语是当今世界重要的国际通用语言,英语口语能力在英语交际中起着至关重要的作用。因此,英语口语交际能力的提高一直以来被我国大学生看作是英语学习的重中之重。大学生英语学习策略的使用与其英语学习效果有一定关系。已有研究表明,英语学习者在英语学习过程中使用恰当的学习策略有助于其英语学习效果的提高。大学生英语口语学习策略的使用与其口语交际能力具有一定的相关性,可以说,他们英语口语学习策略的使用在很大程度上影响着其口语交际能力。因此,本文对我国大学生英语口语学习策略的使用及其口语交际能力的关系进行研究,探求能够帮助我国大学生提高口语交际能力的学习策略,以期帮助他们在口语学习中使用恰当的策略,切实提高口语交际能力。

本文主要研究我国大学生英语口语学习策略及其口语交际能力的关系。首先,文章对英语口语学习策略及口语交际能力的概念进行了简要阐释;接着,本文选取外国语学院163名大三学生作为研究对象,其中包括21名男生和142名女生,通过问卷调查、口语测试、访谈等方法探究他们在英语学习中口语学习策略的使用和其口语交际能力的关系;最后,文章对我国大学生英语口语学习策略的使用提出科学、合理的建议,以期帮助他们切实提高英语口语交际能力,使他们在今后的学习、工作和社会生活中能够准确、流利、恰当的使用英语进行交际。

Abstract

English is regarded as the most important international language in the world today. Oral English plays an important role in English communication. Therefore, the improvement of the oral communicative ability has been regarded as the most important part in English learning by Chinese college students. Previous studies have shown that students’ use of appropriate learning strategies in the process of English learning can improve their efficiency of English learning. There is certain correlation between the use of college students’ English learning strategies for spoken English and their oral communicative ability. Therefore, this paper studies the relationship between college students’ English learning strategies and their oral communicative ability in order to seek proper learning strategies for Chinese college students to improve their oral communicative ability, so that the students are able to use appropriate strategies in their oral English learning.

This paper focuses on the relationship between college students’ English learning strategies and their oral communicative ability. Firstly, the paper briefly introduces the concepts of learning strategies and oral communicative ability. Secondly, based on questionnaires, oral tests and interviews, the paper analyzes the relationship between the English learning strategies for spoken English and oral communicative ability through a study on 163 junior students in university, 21 boys and 142 girls. Finally, according to the discussion and result of the study, some scientific and helpful suggestions on English learning strategies are put forward, aiming to help the students improve their oral communicative ability, so that they can use English learning strategies accurately, fluently and appropriately in their future study, work and social life.
