商务英语口语俚语的特点及翻译技巧_英语论文
On The Features and Translation Skills of Slang in Business Oral English
摘要
俚语一般是指非正式语言,是在一些不同的特殊群体内使用的新的或者欠礼貌的词或词语,不会运用到一些文章、办公邮件或者比较严肃的场合中。俚语最早指的是一些囚犯或流浪汉为了掩饰自己的身份而使用的一些特殊词汇或习语。自改革开放以来,我国的商务贸易迅速发展,成为中国经济的重要组成部分。在商务贸易中,俚语的使用越来越广泛,成为商务英语中的特色构成。但是,在俚语的翻译和使用中,还是存在一定的误区,不能将原有的意思全部表达出来,理解程度较难。本文研究的焦点在于商务口语中俚语的特点和翻译技巧,突出商务口语中的俚语在越来越频繁的商务活动中不可或缺的作用。主要介绍俚语的定义、来源、本质,并且强调了俚语的功能,在不同方面的特点以及翻译技巧。

Abstract
Slang is usually a kind of informal language, which is used in a number of different special groups in new or less polite word or words. Slang will not be applied to some articles, office mails or more serious occasions. Slang refers to the earliest special words or idioms which are for the prisoners or tramps to conceal their identity. Since the reform and opening up, China's rapid development of commercial trade has become an important part of China's economy. In the business trade, the use of slang is more and more wide, and it is one of the characteristic of Business English. However, in the translation and use of slang, there are still some errors, for example, the original meaning cannot be fully expressed and the degree of understanding is indeed difficult. This paper focuses on the features, functions and translation skills of slang in Business Oral English, which reveals the indispensable role of slang in more and more frequent business activities. It mainly introduces the definition, origin, nature of slang and stresses the functions of slang. In addition, it refers to the features of slang in different aspects and translation skills.
