摘要

《长日将尽》是2017年诺贝尔文学奖得主石黑一雄的代表作品，通过回忆手法讲述了英国传统男管家史蒂文斯的一生。苏珊·巴斯奈特是翻译界文化学派的代表人物，她曾提出在翻译界影响深远的文化转向。本文以巴斯奈特的文化翻译观为理论依据，以大陆冯涛译本和台湾张淑贞译本为研究材料，选取具有代表性的文本进行对比研究。作者从翻译者的性别身份，意识形态，权力关系等角度对两个译本进行对比分析，探究文化因素对翻译策略的影响。研究表明，文化因素对翻译策略具有制约作用，翻译文学作品时要根据源语文化和译入语文化的需求，灵活采用归化和异化策略。
