从关联理论角度论连接词在英汉翻译中的处理_英语论文

On E-C Translation of Conjunctions From the Perspective of Relevance Theory

摘要

由于英语属于形合结构的语言，而汉语属于意合结构，所以在翻译过程中，我们需要就句子的结构做出调整。连词是句型结构的重要标志，准确地把握好连词的翻译，能够提高我们的翻译水平。虽然关联理论较为广泛的应用于翻译研究中，但将其应用于研究连词的翻译，成果鲜为少见。基于此，本文旨在从一个新的视角，即关联理论角度来分析英汉翻译过程中连接词显化和隐化翻译策略，从而帮助人们更好地处理英汉翻译中的连接词，提升译者的翻译水平。

Abstract

Because English favors hypotaxis, and Chinese belongs to parataxis, we need to change the sentence structure while translating. The conjunction is the significant symbol of sentence structure, so it is important to use and translate the conjunction accurately. Although relevance theory has been applied wildly to the study of translation, there are still few people applying it into the research of translation of conjunctions. Based on this, this thesis aims to analyze the conjunction translation of explicitation and implicitation from a new view perspective, that is, the perspective of relevance theory, which can deepen our understanding to the English-Chinese translation and improve our translation competence.
