从交际翻译视角看《疯狂动物城》的字幕翻译_英语论文
On Subtitle Translation of Zootopia From the Perspective of Communicative Translation
摘要
传统的电影字幕翻译强调忠实、简洁、少注释的原则,而纽马克的交际翻译理论则为字幕翻译开辟了新的视角。交际翻译理论认为翻译的本质是使译文对目的语读者所产生的效果与原文对源语读者所产生的效果相同。本文以纽马克的交际翻译理论为框架,对影视字幕翻译的特点以及存在的问题进行了阐述和分析。论文以动画片《疯狂动物城》的字幕翻译为例,提出在进行字幕翻译的过程中应遵信息传递原则、美学原则和情感传递原则来指出影视字幕翻译的问题,以实现字幕的交际目的。

Abstract
Traditional subtitle translation emphasizes on faithfulness, conciseness and less annotation, while Newmark’s communicative translation theory opens up a new perspective to subtitle translation. The theory of communicative translation holds that the effect of the translated text on target language readers should be the same as was produced on source language readers. Based on Newmark’s communicative translation theory, this thesis makes an analysis on the characteristics of subtitle translation and the existing problems. Taking the subtitle translation of the cartoon film Zootopia as an example, the author proposes that information transmission, the principle of aesthetics and emotional transmission are the three basic rules to be observed in the process of subtitle translation in order to achieve the transference of communicative purpose.
