十六世纪东西方女性爱情观对比-以《牡丹亭》和《仲夏夜之梦》为例_英语论文
A Comparative Study On Love Of Eastern And Western Females In The 16th Century—— Based On Text Analysis Of The Peony Pavilion And A Minsummer Night’S Dream
摘要
自人类开始以艺术的形式开始记事以来,关于爱情的讨论从未停止。而在爱情当中,女性的成长最为显著。女性爱情观不仅主导了人类爱情的发展,更体现了女性身份地位在历史中的变化。本文通过文本分析和对比研究,并结合当代爱情观理论对《牡丹亭》与《仲夏夜之梦》中女性主角的爱情观进行了简要地分析,从而得出16世纪影响中西方女性爱情观的原因。本文研究结果发现,女性爱情观受到经济,教育和习俗的影响,二者反映出女性自我意识觉醒所需的必要条件,因此也得出在16世纪以后中西方女性社会地位差距扩大的原因。因此,此文通过初步分析的出的结果对于女性爱情观的研究与女性自我意识觉醒的研究有着抛砖引玉的作用。

Abstract
Human has been keeping the discussion on love since the beginning of recording life with art. It is noticeable that women have changed their view of love apparently throughout human history. Women’s love functions not only as the driver of the development of human’s love, but also as the show case for the changes of female’s social status in history. In this paper, textual analysis and comparative study method are applied to analyze heroines’ love in The Peony Pavilion and A Midsummer Night’s Dream briefly with the help of contemporary love theory. Thereby, the factors which exert influences on love of Eastern and Western females in the 16th century are revealed. The paper finds that the female’s love is affected by economy, education and convention, and also reflect jointly the necessary conditions for women’s self-awareness. The reasons why women’s social status in the east and in the west developed in different ways after the 16th century show themselves accordingly. Therefore, the paper is a prototype for further study on women’s love and self-awareness.
