摘要

改写理论是由美国学者勒菲弗尔在80年代提出并逐渐成型的翻译研究理论。它打破了以往翻译研究翻译技巧和策略的束缚，提出翻译研究应该放在文化的背景下进行。在改写理论中，一共有三个影响翻译的因素：意识形态、诗学以及赞助人。这三个因素在文学系统内外都对翻译实践产生各个方面的影响。政治新闻是新闻中的一个重要种类，它记录着在世界各地发生的重大事件。通过阅读政治新闻，人们可以从各方面了解以及预测政治形势的变化，从而对生产和生活进行规划。本文将改写理论和政治新闻的翻译结合起来，从改写理论的角度研究政治新闻的翻译，揭示在政治新闻汉英翻译的过程中，意识形态、诗学以及赞助人是如何影响和操控翻译实践。

Abstract

Rewriting theory is a theory studying translation which is raised by Andre Lefevere in the 1980s. Unlike the previous theories that focusing on the skills and strategies of translation, rewriting theory thought that the study on translation should be combined with the study of culture. According to rewriting theory, there are three factors that influence translation: ideology, poetics and patronage. These three factors influence and manipulate translation inside and outside the literature system. Political news is an important kind of news, which records the events happening all around the world. By reading political news, people can know about and predict the development of the world and then make plans for their work and life. This thesis would combine the rewriting theory with English-Chinese translation of political news. Studying the English-Chinese translation of political news with rewriting, this thesis will find out how ideology, poetics and patronage influence and manipulate translation.
