摘要

语言能够真实地反映一个民族的物质文化、生态地域、风俗习惯和宗信信仰。文化负载词最能体现语言中强烈的民族色彩和鲜明的文化个性。由于英汉语言的巨大差异，文化负载词的翻译给译者带来了很大的困难和挑战。因此，从文化比较的角度探讨文化负载词的翻译方法具有重要的意义。本文以《生死疲劳》中文化负载词的英译为例，探究了文化负载词的英译策略，包括直译、音译、意译和文化替代。
