从关联理论的视角阐释《生活大爆炸》中的幽默_英语论文

On the Humor Interpretation In The Big Bang Theory From the Perspective of Relevance Theory

摘要

在人们日常生活中，幽默的作用越来越重要。它不仅可以促进人们之间的交流，而且起到了调节氛围的作用。从柏拉图时代起，人们就开始了对幽默的研究。不同的学者从各个角度对幽默进行了阐述。学会理解和鉴赏英语会话中的幽默对学习英语也起到了很重要的作用。本篇论文就是以美国情景喜剧《生活大爆炸》为语料，从关联理论的角度对剧中出现的幽默现象进行了阐述。本论文主要分为三部分，对幽默的定义，关联理论与合作原则的对比以及运用关联理论对《生活大爆炸》中的幽默进行了解释。

Abstract

Humor plays an important role in daily life. It not only promotes human communication but also mitigates atmosphere of dialogue. The history of humor research can date back to Plato’s time. Different linguists have made different explanations on humor from different perspectives. Understanding and appreciating humor gives a great influence on English study. Based on The Big Bang Theory, this thesis explains humor from the perspective of Relevance Theory. In the meantime, compared with Cooperative Principle, Relevance Theory is proved to have the greater explanatory power in the field of humor interpretation.
