A Study on Cultivation of English Reading Ability

摘要

本文认为学生的英语阅读能力受到心理因素，知识因素，语言因素，策略因素等因素的影响。本文是以信息加工理论为基础, 试图探讨如何提高学生的英语阅读能力。提出了四种提高学生英语阅读能力的教学策略，即情境导入、整体阅读、重点讲解及交际练习。最后运用这四种策略指导学生阅读，以帮助学生提高英语阅读能力。

Abstract

This paper holds that students' English reading ability is influenced by psychological factors, knowledge factors, language factors and strategy factors. It is based on information processing theory and tries to improve students' English reading ability . Then it puts forward four strategies for improving the students' English reading ability including Introducing background information, carrying out integrated reading activities, focusing on explaining and performing output practice . Finally, in order to guide students to read and help students improve their English reading ability, we will put these four strategies into practice.
