摘要

模糊限制语作为模糊语言中的一类，广泛运用于日常生活，对于信息传递起到了重要的作用。因此，很多学者都对模糊限制语做出了各方面研究，但很少有研究美剧对话中模糊限制语的使用情况。美剧作为现实生活的戏剧化再现，其对话中蕴含着丰富的模糊限制语，它对对话的顺利进行起到了重要作用。因此，本文将以维索尔伦的顺应论为理论框架，以美剧《兄弟姐妹》为语料库，采用例证分析，通过模糊限制语在不同对话中的顺应形式，分析其在心理世界、社交世界和物理世界三个语境条件下的使用情况及其作用。研究发现：变动型模糊限制语的使用数量多于缓和型模糊限制语；模糊限制语还具有表示礼貌、保护某人、以及隐藏信息的功能。
