摘要

近年来，有关性别语言差异的研究在心理语言学以及社会语言学层面已有一定的收获，而将语用学的相关理论用于语言使用中的性别差异的研究则是相对有限的。本文在合作原则的理论框架下，通过分析萧伯纳的戏剧剧本《卖花女》中的部分对话来探究语言使用中的性别差异以及产生这些差异的原因,一方面拓宽《卖花女》的研究视角；另一方面旨在进一步研究男女两性在合作原则方面的差异，更好地帮助人们理解两性在会话中存在的不同，促进交流的顺利进行。研究发现：在《卖花女》中，女性相较于男性而言，更愿意遵守合作原则，而男性很多时候会选择违背合作原则，从而使会话不能顺利进行。
