An Analysis of the Translation Skills of the Children’s Book The Little Prince from the Perspective of Skopos Theory_英语论文

儿童文学作品的翻译具有重要的意义。《小王子》是全世界最受
欢迎的优秀儿童作品之一。然而,许多译者只是单纯地追求文本的基本意义,忽视《小王子》翻译的特殊性:在翻译《小王子》这一本儿童文学作品时,儿童的身心发展水平、儿童读者的生活经历、审美意识等方面的具体情况都需要加以考虑。
因此,本文旨在《小王子》这本优秀的儿童读物的中文翻译找到一些有效的策略。在目的论的指导下,本文选择了两种不同的中文译本进行比较分析,并设法找出儿童作品的有效翻译策略,帮助儿童读者更好地阅读译本感受儿童文学作品的内涵和思想情感。
对于儿童作品《小王子》的翻译策略,本文总结了以下几点启示:使用简单的口头表达;按照中文语法习惯用短句处理英语中的长难句;在不违背目的论忠实原则的前提下尽量多地利用拟声词,根据语境在翻译中转化中国类似的成语。

Abstract
The translation of children's works is of great significance. And the Little Prince is one of excellent children works of great popularity around the world. However, many translators simply pursue the basic meaning of the text and ignore the particularity of the translation of the Little Prince: when translating a children's literature work, the level of children's physical and mental development and their life experiences, aesthetic consciousness and other aspects of the specific situation need to be taken into account.
Therefore, this thesis aims to find out some effective skills for Chinese translation of this excellent children's book, The Little Prince. Under the guidance of Skopos Theory, this thesis chooses two different versions of the Little Prince for comparative analysis and contrives to find out effective translation strategies for children's works and help children readers better read the translation of children's literature works to feel the connotation and ideological feelings of the original.
As for the translation skills of children's work, the Little Prince, this thesis summarizes the following inspiration: using simple oral expression; using short sentences in accordance with Chinese grammar habits to deal with long and difficult sentences in English; using onomatopoeia as much as possible without violating the fidelity rule of Skopos theory; translate similar idioms into Chinese
idioms according to context.
