摘要 

本论文采用个案分析方法来分析目的论在儿童文学翻译中的应用。以《芒果街上的小屋》为例子，在目的论视角下，对比中英译文，研究其中的对儿童文学的具体翻译策略。在目的论视角下，儿童为目标读者，所以应关注儿童的阅读需求和期望。本论文具体从语言和文化两方面进行详细分析，译者如何巧妙地采取翻译策略来达到译文预期的交际目的，并希望以此提高译者翻译儿童文学作品的技巧和水平。
