摘要

随着全球化趋势的发展和中国世界地位的提升，中国开始强调文化软实力输出的必要性。作为文化交流的产物之一，中国网络玄幻小说在外国读者之间越来越流行，其专有名词的翻译值得我们关注。因此，本文试图从目的论的角度研究中国玄幻小说专有名词的翻译策略。

本文以目的论为基础，运用定性研究方法，对翻译策略进行研究。本研究主要探讨目的规则、连贯规则和忠实规则如何影响武侠世界中的专有名词的三种典型翻译策略（意译、音译和归化）的选取。其中，目的规则涉及到翻译的目的；连贯规则涉及到译文的内部连贯；忠实规则涉及到原文与读者之间的信息交流。巧合的是，三种策略的运用有助于实现原文的交际目的。由于本研究的重点是武侠世界中专有名词的翻译，翻译策略的选择将体现在对构词和词性转换的分析上。

本研究以目的论为基础，论证了这三种翻译策略的合理性，并得出了两个结论。一方面，目的论可以从句子结构、语篇分析、修辞等角度对中文网络文学文本的英译研究提供新的视角。另一方面，本文所分析的翻译策略有助于评价网络小说名词英译的质量，最终有助于中国文化的传播。
